Long time no post! I’ve been setting up a new webhost, so I’d might as well post an update about what’s up in 2024.

First, and perhaps the proverbial elephant in the room, is the fact that last year’s nine full length releases only became three. Such is life with depression. I got close to burning myself out again, so I had to relieve the pressure, and spotify was the first thing to cut back on.

The current plan is to get through three releases during 2024. The next release is mostly finished, it just needs some vocals and some re-recordings of the oldest songs. And I’ve started working on a new song for the second release of the year. For the first time I’m going to do some clean vocals of my own, so that’s a bit scary.

And if you happen to be in Stockholm and reading this before may the 4th, get yourself a ticket to Firecrest’s album release party at Gamla Enskede Bryggeri. I will be filling in on bass with Belinda Blomqvist’s band Fear The Fate as one of the opening bands (along with Yearning For Distortion).
